Who We Are
Our officers bring with them diverse life experience and professional backgrounds, each one providing valuable contributions to our team. Our department is normally staffed by 15 full-time staff members, consisting of the Chief of Public Safety, two lieutenants, four full-time officers, three patrolmen, three desk supervisors, an Office Administrator, and a Project Coordinator.
These men and women shoulder many responsibilities that ensure our department can uphold our commitment to safety, service, and professionalism every single day (and night). Our sergeants and full-time officers also supervise over 50 part-time student employees, making our department one of the largest sources of on-campus employment for students at our Chicago campus.
